Andrew Dyke

Andrew received his Bachelor of Architecture from the School of Architecture and Landscape Design at the University of Toronto (1990). After graduation Andrew joined KPMB, becoming an associate in 1998.

In his early years with KPMB Andrew worked on several major institutional projects, including the design development and contract documents phases for Kitchener City Hall and the Joseph S. Stauffer Library at Queen's University. He was instrumental in coordinating many of the firm's competition submissions and proposals, including the winning schemes for Kitchener City Hall, Stauffer Library, the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, and the new Canadian Embassy in Berlin, for which he also completed the design development phase. Andrew also participated in the programming, design development, and contract documents phases of the Toronto-based headquarters for Alliance Communications Corporation.

Andrew has been instrumental in coordinating some of KPMB's major institutional projects. As the associate-in-charge of Le Quartier Concordia, the multi-block integrated academic campus for Montreal’s Concordia University, he was in charge of the personnel of the joint venture team, splitting his time between the offices of KPMB and the Montreal joint venture firm of Fichten Soiferman et Associés. In addition, Andrew has provided cost control, project management, and acted as the consultant team’s and client's point of contact.

Since becoming an associate, Andrew has been Associate-in-Charge for the renovations of Toronto’s landmark City Hall, the new Engineering/Computer Science and Visual Arts buildings at Concordia University in Montreal, and the Royal Conservatory of Music's TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning in Toronto. He is currently associate-in-charge for Concordia University’s new John Molson School of Business.
